Subaru of America Funds Chapter Babysitters' Boot Camp

Through the generosity of Subaru of America, the Camden County American Red Cross was able to offer its 2010 Summer Babysitters' Boot Camp. Eight young people were certified and trained in Babysitting skills, first aid and Money Management in the first session held in July. The second Camp with 12 persons is set for August.

Red Cross Babysitter instructor Carole Cirucci and First Aid instructor Anthony Jahanbakhsh provided the Red Cross training, while Board Member Shane Mitzner of Sun National Bank facilitated the session on money management and saving.

Among the items each newly certified sitter received was a babysitter's backpack, notebook and a tie-dye shirt, custom designed with a Subaru logo by Designer Ts of Cherry Hill.
